The Burt Ranch is located 9 miles southwest of Junction, Texas on Highway 377 between Junction and Telegraph in Kimble County. The ranch is approximately 9,500 acres.   The terrain is hilly with deep draws. Tree cover is typically 50 to 70% Juniper, with the remaining being comprised of Oak and other species.

Stocking rates are low and all livestock is removed from leased acreage. Each lease is fenced pasture land with exclusive hunting rights for your group.  Access to all leases is by private ranch roads.  Housing facilities are available and vary by lease.  Each hunter is allowed one 8 point buck or better, one cull whitetail buck, two whitetail doe, one turkey, and one feral hog.  Each lease is equipped with a 10 foot blind and 250-350 lb electric feeder for each hunter.  The number of hunters per lease varies with the acreage. Camping Sites are available on the ranch property for those wishing to combine hunting and camping into one trip.
